**The Law 12/2023, of 24 May, for the right to housing, approved in the Congress on 27 April 2023, and in the Senate on 18 May, which is in force from the day after its inclusion in the BOE, 26 May 2023, provides in Article 20.1 that in the case of housing rental contracts 'the costs of property management and the formalization of the contract shall be borne by the lessor'.
