This rustic house is located in Lugar Faedo, municipality of Quirós, Asturias.
This village is nestled in the Parque de las Ubiñas. This protected area covers land belonging to the councils of Lena, Quirós and Teverga. It is a mountain territory in which the Ubiña Massif stands out, with heights of more than two thousand meters, with the Picos del Fontán being the highest height with 2417 m., in the council of Quirós.

The fauna is represented by the main species of the Asturian fauna, highlighting the Brown Bear, being the council of Quirós where the main breeding nuclei are located. Other species such as wolves, wild cats, badgers, otters, roe deer, wild boar, deer and chamois are very abundant, as well as a wide variety of mustelids and rodents, among other species. As for the birds, the capercaillie, the golden eagle, the Egyptian vulture, the peregrine falcon, the goshawk, the partridge Linnet, vultures, sparrows, etc. are also present within the Park.
Another of the many tourist attractions in the area is La Senda del Oso, a pedestrian and cycling track that crosses the councils of Quirós, Santo Adriano, Proaza and Teverga. These four councils make up the so-called region of the Bear Valleys, as it is a refuge for one of the last populations of the Cantabrian Brown Bear, one of the three species of brown bear found in Europe.

In short, a place where the influx of foreign, national and European tourists come throughout the year to enjoy the charms of Asturias, its landscape, culture and gastronomy.
